HAIL SAPPHIRE, noble, holy, celestial, shining! Shine your ray of royal blue light upon me so that I may speak through the grace and poise of my highest self. Shine your ray of cornflower blue so that I may connect with the cosmic intelligence of the stars. Shine your delicate blue light of the waters around me to fill me with peace and serenity. So mote it be. Hail and Welcome!
This past week I have been incredibly anxious.
There has been a few too many deadlines looming, and one too many tasks to complete. I've been wearing a lot of different hats, juggling many versions of myself- Artist, Dancer, Performer, Writer, Mother, Wife, Sister, Daughter, Entrepreneur, Small business owner, Homemaker. Under it all a younger, less confident or secure, part of me seems to be holding the reins. As I sat down to write to you for the newsletter this week I found a desire to put my inner Queen back in charge.
Moving into the season of Balance with Ostara and Spring Equinox today I found Sapphire to be the perfect crystal to share and contemplate. 💎

Honoring our Inner Nobility with Sapphire
Sapphire has long been treasured by monarchs. The crown jewels of England are studded with glorious sapphires. Tsars, Emperors, Kings, and Queens have all held sapphire in their possession. Many famous betrothals have included sapphire engagement rings, such as Princess Diana’s.
Through this lineage you can invoke Sapphire to tap into your own regal qualities. Visualize a throne in your mind's eye. Picture the most noble version of yourself sitting there. How do you look? What are you doing? What qualities do you possess?
Journal about this Queen, King, or Monarch inside of you. Write down the traits you learn about this aspect of your character, or draw a picture of what you see. Return to this meditation whenever you need to step into your powerful truth.
Has my inner sovereign always been a Faerie Queen?
When I sat down and closed my eyes I wasn’t surprised to see my inner monarch as a radiant and powerful Faerie Queen. Through a long line of inquiry I learned this moon cycle that I may be a descendent of the Faerie Queen of County Cork, Clíodhna. (more on this later this month when I share my Vision Board River.)
Ever since I was a child I’ve visualized myself as Fae Queen. When I was in middle school I wrote a story with friends where we became Duchesses of a mythical isle. I was crowned Duchess of the Fae. In 2022 I had the honor of being the Dancing Faerie Queen for the Festival of Faerie in Lafayette. And, In embodied movement retreats during guided visualizations to meet my “highest self” she was often a Fae Queen from the Sea, or appeared with wings made of Moonlight.
I wrote in my journal the following:
How do you look?
A throne in the center of my being, made of a pulsing flower, like a lotus or a rose, tender and pink. It is surrounded by three rings of flowing rivers or snakes or both, rippling and flowing with creative life force. This is a fertile and verdant throne. Rosy cheeks, clear eyes. Hair coiled elegantly under a flowering crown, locks of many colors, like the rivers. Skin of twinkling stars, tethered to a grander purpose, beyond what the prosaic version of myself can comprehend in the day to day of life. This is a being radiant with trust. A version of me luxuriating in the flow of this lifetime.What are you doing?
Kissed by the internal wind, intuition and deep knowing. Listening and gently digesting the flow of information. Soft bells and a gentle light create peace in this timeless place. She is humming her wisdom into my bones. I am humming my wisdom into my bones.What qualities do you possess?
Poise, grace, patience, certainty, beauty, artistry, playfulness, curiosity, mirth, intrigue, confidence, sensuality and flirtation, amorous, generativity, magnetism.I am poised
I am graceful
I am patient
I am certain of my place in the world and the path I am on
I am beautiful
I am artistic
I am playful
I am curious
I am filled with mirth
I am intriguing and intrigued by the world
I am confident
I am sensual and flirtatious
I am enamored with life
I am sending love out in generous waves
I am generative
I am magnetic.
I commit to humming every morning for five minutes to center my nervous system and move into my day embodied as my inner Fae Queen.
